After completing my bachelor's degree at CUNY Queens College I went on to pursue my law degree at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles where I graduated in 1979. I worked my way through law school doing a variety of jobs that helped me gain valuable insight into the legal process, including working at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and assisting a local attorney draft appeals.
